Highly recommend for families seeking a unique experience

The staff were so friendly, it felt like I was talking to old friends. they even let my younger son ring the gong for dinner, a little touch that made it fun for everyone. The meals were a four-course surprise, my boys found a newfound love for mushroom soup and we all sat together in the lounge, chatting away like we were in some classic tale.

It wasn’t inexpensive but still acceptable for what we got.

Our stay at the Royal Oak Hotel was a treat! The room had a cozy corner with an armchair perfect for curling up with a book. The food was a delight, especially the breakfast spread that included buttery croissants and fresh fruit. A bonus was the drying room for our muddy gear after long hikes.

We found the room a bit on the small side.
